Webinar: The management of chronic pain

A Goodfellow Unit webinar

 Free interactive webinar event:

7:30 - 8:45pm on Tuesday 21 November, 2017

Join Dr Giresh Kanji to discuss the challenges related to managing chronic pain in primary care, including both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical options.

Over 30 percent of people presenting to primary caregivers have chronic pain issues. These can present significant challenges and require skill and care to manage effectively.

With an ageing population demanding more from their bodies, it is essential that we accurately assess and focus the management of chronic pain on maximising function and quality of life. Achieving a cure is commonly unrealistic. Establishing appropriate expectations of treatments and potential outcomes is crucial for these patients.

Throughout this live online event you will have the opportunity to type questions to Dr Kanji via the onscreen text system. Please note that the webinar may run slightly over time so as many of your questions as possible can be answered.

We look forward to you joining us online on Tuesday 21 November at 7.30pm.
