Clinical Nurse Coordinator – Community Mental Health and Addictions Services, Kaitaia (1.0 FTE, permanent)

If you are a Registered Nurse with experience and a passion for mental health and addiction nursing, the community Mental Health and Addictions Services team based in Kaitaia have an exciting opportunity for you. You will ensure an efficient and effective service delivery to our people through the coordination of people, systems and resources using a partnership approach.

The role will form close linkages within the community teams, so you can maintain a global view of clinical activity and support the multi-discplinary team members to provide safe and timely care to our patients.

This is a permanent role working Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30 pm. Some relocation assistance may be available to help you move to Kaitaia if you do not live close by.

About You

Our ideal candidate will

  • be a Registered Nurse (Comprehensive or Mental Health) with a current APC
  • have recent experience working in an acute mental health setting
  • be both autonomous and a team player with demonstrated leadership skills
  • be able to ensure the provision of quality care which is safe, professional and patient focused.
