We have permanent or fixed term opportunities available for a GP or Nurse Practitioner who enjoys clinical variety and has a strong focus on patient quality, ideally working 8 to 10 sessions per week (but sessions are negotiable) in our rural practice. Not only is the work interesting and varied, but your work / life balance is seen as a must!
In addition to providing General Practice care, sub-specialty interests of your choice are welcome and encouraged. We currently have specialised clinics for fractures, minor surgery, and joint injection. We facilitate fortnightly time protected CME, peer review sessions and team meetings, strengthening your clinical support.

Our general practice has 8,400 enrolled patients, is Foundation standards accredited, and has completed the Health Care Home programme. The practice is part of an integrated health centre incorporating GP, Inpatient ward, Maternity ward with birthing unit, Outpatient specialist services and a wide variety of community based and allied health services. We have onsite laboratory and radiology service for the convenience of our patients, and staff. Our services onsite all work collaboratively to deliver care to our patients, whanau and community.
