Introduction
Supervision is an opportunity to hold up a mirror to practice, celebrating what is working and exploring opportunities for learning and development. Exploration of practice issues occurs within a safe space whereby issues are raised by the supervisee and explored in partnership by the supervisee and the supervisor. I bring a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience to the supervisor role, which includes diverse roles in nursing and education in Aotearoa and overseas.
I am passionate about Māori Health, Mental health and addictions, and leadership in nursing. As leadership is an integral part of shaping professional practice it is vital that those in leadership positions are well supported. Good leadership provides strong collegial practice and leads to professionals fulfilling their potential. I live in Marlborough and work for a Māori Wellness Service as the Clinical Nurse Lead. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and exploring the natural environment this beautiful area provides.
