Nursing has much to be proud of over the past one hundred and twenty years. We can learn from how nurse leaders have managed situations in the past that are not dissimilar to challenges that we face today. 
 

I am fortunate to have been involved as a nurse in New Zealand for 50 years. Over the past year I have developed a website that is gradually bringing together information, updates, challenging ideas, examples of practice innovations and interviews with people of influence who contribute to meeting health needs of New Zealand and Pacific nations. 
 

Each month items are added to show and excite nurses and health planners about nursing contribution to health and to inspire us to go far beyond where we are right now.
