Kia ora! 

With over a decade in nursing and more than half of my career as a Nurse Practitioner, I've walked the path many Registered Nurses are now navigating — and I'm here to help light the way.

I'm super passionate about helping RNs succeed in their career progression goals and have a particular interest in supporting those undertaking post-graduate study. 

My time has been spent in gen med, rural primary care (including PRIME) and dabbled in some aesthetics, although my true love lies in acute care. 

My favourite job to date is the one I'm in now, in Urgent Care, where I lead a team of around 30 Nurse Practitioners made up of permanent staff, locums and NP interns. 

I've had the privilege of clinically and professionally supporting 7 (soon to be 8) NP candidates to successfully register as NPs. 

I've previously spent time teaching into the Masters programme on the Nurse Practitioner Pathway, and currently work for the NCNZ sitting on NP panels. I'm also involved in governance as a director on the clinical board for the Pegasus PHO.
