Introduction
Hi, I'm Hattie.
I'm a Registered Nurse, Certified Master Health Coach, Resuscitation Educator, and Mental Health & Addictions Credentialed Practitioner. I provide professional supervision across Aotearoa New Zealand, either in person on the Hibiscus Coast and North Shore or online nationwide, for nurses, allied health professionals, health coaches, and others working in caring roles.
While I'm relatively new to formal professional supervision, it feels like a natural progression from the coaching work I've been doing over the past two years. Supporting people to develop greater self-awareness, confidence, resilience, and clarity is work I genuinely love. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone reconnect with their strengths and grow into the professional they aspire to be.
What I bring is a combination of clinical credibility and a whole-person perspective. My nursing career has taken me from intensive care and emergency departments through to primary care, and school-based health services. I continue to practise as a Registered Nurse and volunteer with Hato Hone St John, ensuring I remain connected to the realities and challenges of contemporary healthcare.
Alongside my nursing experience, I hold New Zealand Resuscitation Council Instructor certification, a Mental Health & Addictions Credential, and advanced training in health coaching and lifestyle medicine. With your permission, I can draw on practical, evidence-informed coaching approaches and mental health tools where appropriate, adding another layer of support beyond reflective conversation alone.
For me, supervision isn't about ticking a professional requirement or simply debriefing difficult days. It's a collaborative relationship built on trust, curiosity, and psychological safety. It's a place where clinical accountability sits alongside personal wellbeing, where you can reflect honestly, challenge your thinking, celebrate what's going well, and navigate the complexities of professional practice with confidence.
Whether you're newly registered, an experienced clinician, or stepping into a new chapter of your career, my hope is that you'll leave each supervision session feeling clearer, more supported, and better equipped to care for both your patients and yourself.
