Upcoming MelNet event: Skin Cancer Study Day for Nurses in Auckland on 14 November 2025

Please see information re our upcoming event co-hosted by the Melanoma Network of New Zealand (MelNet) – a network of over 1300 health professionals working to reduce the incidence and impact of melanoma and other skin cancer in New Zealand.

On Friday 14 November 2025, MelNet and Auckland Clinical Nurse Specialists are hosting another Skin Cancer Study Day for Nurses in Auckland. The event will be held at the Clinical Education Centre at Auckland City Hospital. Both primary and secondary care nurses and nursing students are encouraged to attend. The day will provide an overview of skin cancer prevention, early detection, treatment and care, increasing understanding of the journey of a skin cancer patient and the critical role of a nurse throughout this journey. It is also an opportunity to network with colleagues, foster new connections and collaboration, and share resources. The cost of attending is $99 (incl. GST).
