New medicine supply notices


Flumetasone pivalate (Locorten-Vioform) ear drops (Pharmacode 259799) There will be an out of stock until at least August 2026. The alternatives are Kenacomb (Pharmcode: 253634) and Sofradex (a part charge applies to Sofradex) (Pharmacode: 208728).


Sodium Fusidate [fusidic acid] (Foban) Oint 2% (Pharmacode 2556189) The ointment may go out of stock. There is ample supply of the cream (Pharmacode: 2556170) to use as an alternative.


Updated medicine supply notices


Alfacalcidol (One-Alpha) cap 1 mcg (Pharmacode: 203092) The next shipment has arrived and been released to wholesalers. It can take another 1 to 2 weeks for stock to reach pharmacies around the country. 


Chloramphenicol (Devatis) Eye ointment 1% (Pharmacode: 2576902) The supplier received a shipment in February 2026 and that stock has been released to wholesalers.


Heparinised saline inj 10 iu per ml, 5 ml (Pfizer) (Pharmacode: 2339919) Resupply has been delayed until April 2026. 


Isoniazid 100 mg with rifampicin 150 mg (Rifinah 100/150) tablets (Pharmacode: 251232) A shipment has arrived and been released to wholesalers. It can take another 1 to 2 weeks for stock to reach pharmacies around the country.

Oxycodone oral liquid (Lucis) (Pharmacode 2678500) Stock of the oral liquid is running low. More shipments are expected throughout March 2026.


Proctosedyl (suppositories) (Pharmacode: 208396) We have listed a S29A alternative (Scheriproct) from 12 March 2026. It will be available to order by the end of the month. 



  • 5 mg (Pharmacode: 2651130) Sandoz brand being supplied

  • 10 mg (Pharmacode: 2651149) and 20 mg (Pharmacode: 2651157) Viatris brand is available

  • 40 mg (Pharmacode: 2651165) - Limited stock of Viatris brand is available, more stock expected by the end of March 2026
