FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensors: Recall (Pharmacode: 2691655) There is a recall affecting some batches of the FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensors.

Levonorgestrel: The funded brand is changing (Pharmacode: 2645424) The brand for the emergency contraceptive pill is changing. Details and pictures are available on the website.

Lopinavir 100mg + ritonavir 25mg: (Pharmacode 2613530) This strength of Lopinavir/Ritonavir Mylan is being discontinued. We are listing this presentation and an oral liquid as "any brand" in the HML. There are currently no patients taking this medicine. The other strength remains available.

Norimin 84 pack (Pharmacode 410691) Due to a delayed shipment, there may be limited stock Norimin 84-pack. Pfizer sourced the Australian version of their product, which is a 112-pack. Details and a flyer for patients is available on the website.

Sodium cromoglicate (Ralicrom) Cap 100 mg (Pharmacode: 2628295) The supplier is limiting the supply of this product. It is expected to go out of stock in December 2025.

Somatropin (Omnitrope) injection 5 mg cartridges (Pharmacode: 2461536) A shipment has been delayed. The supplier expects to go out of stock in December 2025. An Australian alternative is available.

Updated medicine supply notices

Correction: Enalapril: listing date Last week's email said the new brand of enalapril would be listed from 1 December 2025. It will be listed from 1 February 2026. We apologise if this caused any issues.

Flecainide acetate (Tambocor) Inj 10 mg per ml, 15 ml ampoule (Pharmacode: 2447363) The next shipment has arrived and has been released to wholesalers. It may take another 1 to 2 weeks to reach pharmacies.

Glucose [Dextrose] (Biomed) Inj 50%, 10 ml ampoule (Pharmacode 2243296) Resupply is expected by mid-December 2025. Stock of the 90 ml ampoule remains available.

Lanreotide (Mytolac) 60 mg per 0.5 ml syringe (Pharmacode: 2698145) We have additional information on the alternative (Pharmacode: 2709597) that is being supplied, including a picture of the label.
