Betamethasone dipropionate (Diprosone) cr and oint
Due to a manufacturing delay, the 0.05% (15g) of Diprosone cream and the 0.05% (50g) of Diprosone ointment are out of stock. Other pack sizes are available for both the ointment and cream.
Oestradiol (Estradot) 100 mcg patch
Stock of the 100 mcg Estradot brand of oestradiol patches (Pharmacode: 2358883) is low and may run out. The 100 mcg Estradiol TDP Mylan brand of oestradiol patches is available.
Updated medicine supply notices
Lansoprazole (Lanzol) 30 mg capsules
The supplier will run out of Lanzol Relief 30 mg capsules (Pharmacode: 2482541). We have funded another brand of lansoprazole (Pharmacode: 2730200) as an alternative.
Mometasone furoate (Elocon) 0.1% preparations
The supplier now has stock of all presentations of mometasone furoate except the lotion (Pharmacode: 2177633).
Naproxen (Noflam) 500 mg tab
Viatris has run out of Noflam brand Naproxen, 500 mg tablets. There is stock of naproxen 250 mg tablets (Pharmacode:2654458), and patients can use two 250 mg tablets where appropriate.
Ramipril (all strengths) tab
The supplier has run out of Tryzan brand of ramipril capsules. Pharmac have funded alternative brands for all strengths. These brands will need to be prescribed and dispensed in line with section 29A of the Medicines Act.
Valaciclovir (Vaclovir) 500 mg and 1000 mg tab
Viatris' Vaclovir tablets 500 mg and 1000 mg are low in stock. Pharmac has funded two different brands of the 1000 mg tablets and one different brand of the 500 mg tablets.
Nutricia out of stocks
Nutricia supplied Pharmac with advice on out-of-stock products on Monday 13 July. The supply situation has not changed.
