Updated medicine supply notices
Atorvastatin (Lorstat) 80 mg tabs (Pharmacode: 2493616) Stock of the 500 pack of Lorstat 80 mg has arrived and been released to wholesalers.
Efavirenz with emtricitabine and tenofovir disoproxil (Viatris) (Pharmacode: 2644967) Resupply has been delayed until April 2026.
Insulin co-formulations: Discontinuations Six more insulin products have been added to the list for discontinuation later in 2026. NZSSD has also updated its guidance for prescribers. Details available on the website.
Concerta: No stock of 18 mg or 27 mg, limited supply of 36 mg, 54 mg available
Ritalin: All strengths available
Rubifen: All strengths available
Sandoz XR: All strengths available
Teva: 36 mg unavailable, all other strengths available.
Norimin 84 pack (Pharmacode: 410691) the NZ registered brand of Norimin has arrived and been released to wholesalers.
Olanzapine (Zypine) 10 mg tablets (Pharmacode: 2651092) A shipment of the 30-pack (bottle) has arrived and been released to wholesalers.
Omeprazole (Inj 40 mg ampoule) (Pharmacode: 2310201) Resupply has been delayed until May 2026.
Rosuvastatin (all strengths) Shipments of all strengths are expected to arrive during February.
