The supplier has filled all wholesalers' backorders with the shipment that arrived in September. A further shipment is expected by mid-October 2026.
We have had reports that some pharmacies have had difficulty ordering other strengths of Estradot patches. We believe this may be localised to some wholesalers in some parts of the country.

A second 50 mg tablet was funded from 8 October. Dispensings can be claimed thi smonth. Pharmacode: 2738805
Sodium valproate (Epilim) 100 mg crushable tablet Discontinuation
Pharmac has secured additional stock of the Epilim 100 mg crushable tablets. This will ensure supply of this medicine until the end of 2027.
Our initial advice was that stock would run out by November 2026. The additional stock allows more time for people to work with their prescribers to find a suitable alternative.
Teriparatide (Teva)
Teva's UK-branded teriparatide (Pharmacode: 2735768) has now received approval from Medsafe. It can be prescribed and dispensed as normal from now. The S29 label will be removed from the Schedule when it is updated for November 2026.
