New supply notices
Ipratropium bromide nebules (Nebuliser soln, 250 mcg per ml, 2 ml ampoule): (Pharmacode: 2724863)
The latest shipment of Viatris brand ipratropium nebules has been delayed. The next shipment of nebules is expected to arrive by the end of August. It will take a further 2 or 3 weeks to reach pharmacies around the country.
Levetiracetam (Everet) Tab 1,000 mg (Pharmacode: 2479567)
Due to shipping delays, there is limited supply of levetiracetam (Everet) Tab 1,000 mg. All other strengths of the Everet tablets remain available. Pharmacists can dispense two 500 mg tablets as an alternative.
Montelukast (tab 4 mg) (Pharmacode: 2643618)
Due to an issue at the factory, Viatris (the supplier) is running low on montelukast 4 mg chewable tablets. Pharmac has sourced an alternate brand Montelukast Sandoz tab 4mg (S29A), which will be funded and available from 1 September 2026.
Proctosedyl (suppositories) (Pharmacode: 208396)
AFT (the supplier) has limited stock of Proctosedyl suppositories. The Proctosedyl ointment (Pharmacode: 208388) is still available.
