New medicine supply notices
Gonadron will be listed from 1 July. Reandron will remain funded until 1 December. Information (including pictures) is available on the website for affected people.
Valaciclovir (Vaclovir) 1,000 mg (Pharmacode: 2483912) Stock of this product will run out. Two s29 alternatives have been listed. Please use the funded alternatives rather than 2 x 500 mg to avoid a supply issue affecting the lower dose.
Updated medicine supply notices
Concerta: Supply of 27 mg tablets out of stock. All other strengths available.
Ritalin: All strengths available
Sandoz XR: All strengths available
Teva: Supply of 36 mg tablets low. Other strengths available.
Pazopanib (Teva) 200 mg tablets (Pharmacode: 2695332) Teva advises that Pazopanib Teva tablets are available again. There may still be some Pazopanib ADVZ at wholesaler level. The ADVZ brand will remain funded for some time to allow pharmacies time to dispense and claim for it.
Salbutamol (Ventolin) Inj 1 mg per ml (Pharmacode: 257923) The supplier has run out of the 1 mg per ml strength. The 500 mcg is available as an alternative.
Teriparatide (Teva) (Pharmacode: 2670399) Teva brand teriparatide is available again from the supplier. Wholesalers may still have stock of Forteo brand. Forteo brand will remain listed for some time to allow pharmacies to claim.
