PediaSure strawberry 200ml bottle
Due to an air freight delay, Abbott is out of stock of PediaSure liquid (strawberry), 200 ml bottle (Pharmacode: 2702762). More stock is due to arrive in New Zealand in mid-late July.
Tamsulosin hydrochloride (Tamsulosin-Rex) cap 400 mcg
Due to an upcoming supply issue, we're temporarily moving tamsulosin cap 400 mcg to monthly dispensing from 1 August 2026. This is to extend the available supply of tamsulosin hydrochloride (Tamsulosin-Rex).

Noradrenaline (Medsurge)
Due to an increase in demand, Medsurge has no supply of the 1 mg per ml, 4 ml ampoule noradrenaline injections (Pharmacode: 2690578). For hospitals requiring an alternative product, stock remains available of Noradrenaline BNM (Pharmacode: 2519879), which was the Pharmac-funded brand previously.
Nutricia: supply issue – multiple products
The supply issue for the Phlexy-10 tablets is now resolved.
The Orange flavour (Pharmacode: 2593890) of the PKU Lophlex powder is now resolved. Berry flavour is expected back in stock by late July 2026.
Oestradiol (Estradot) 100 mcg patch
Stock of the Estradot brand 100 mcg patch (Pharmacode: 2358883) is very low and may run out. The 100 mcg Estradiol TDP Mylan brand of oestradiol patches is available.
Temozolomide (Temaccord) 5 mg capsules
A shipment of temozolomide (Temaccord) (Pharmacode: 2388278) 5 mg capsules has arrived. As the supplier was able to bring the shipment forward the alternative listed brand was not required.
