Acarbose (Accarb) 50 mg and 100 mg tablets Delays to shipments means there is limited stock available of the acarbose 50 mg (Pharmacode: 2402408) and 100 mg (Pharmacode: 2402416) tablets. Next shipment is expected by the end of the month.


Dexamfetamine (Noumed) 5 mg tab (Pharmacode: 2647516) Stock levels are low at the supplier. An alternative is listed from 1 April 2026. It is Medsafe registered but contains gluten.


Epoetin alfa (Binocrit) inj 40,000 iu in 1 ml (Pharmacode: 2559862) Supply will be constrained over the next few months, some shipments are arriving but people may not be able to access this strength. All other strengths remain available.


Updated medicine supply notices

Furosemide [Frusemide] 10 mg/ml 2 ml ampoules Furosemide-AFT (Pharmacode: 2718650) is listed and the PSO quantity has increased to 10 amps.

Lanreotide (Mytolac) all strengths Lanreotide (Mytolac) all strengths Pharmac understands there has been limited availability of Somatuline Autogel this month. The supplier received new stock this week for wholesalers to order. Pharmacies may need to contact wholesalers to request this product.



  • Concerta: Only the 54 mg is available

  • Ritalin: All strengths available

  • Rubifen: All strengths available

  • Sandoz XR: All strengths available

  • Teva: 36 mg is unavailable, all other strengths available.  


Mometasone furoate (Elocon) 0.1% All pack sizes of the ointment and cream are available again. Unfortunately the lotion (Pharmacode: 2177633) has gone out of stock. More supply is expected by the end of March 2026.


Zinc (Zincaps) 50 mg capsule There may be a short period from late March to early April where the supplier is out of Rugby Zinc capsules (Pharmacode: 2719665). More stock is on the way and is expected to arrive early April.


Resolved issues

 

Note: Supply issues are marked as resolved when the supplier has product available. It can take another 1 to 2 weeks for stock to reach pharmacies around the motu.
