Hutt Valley Urgent Care provides urgent and after-hours medical care to the community from 8:00am to 10:00pm, 365 days a year. As one of the region's leading urgent care services, we deliver accessible, high-quality healthcare when patients need it most.

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated clinical team.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centred care within a fast-paced and supportive urgent care environment. Working autonomously and alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of acute presentations while helping improve access to healthcare for the Hutt Valley community.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Nurse Practitioner who is legally entitled to work in New Zealand and has experience in urgent care, emergency care, primary care, or general practice.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be a registered Nurse Practitioner with a current New Zealand practising certificate

• Have experience in urgent care, emergency care, primary care, or general practice

• Be confident assessing and managing a broad range of acute presentations across all age groups

• Demonstrate strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills

• Be committed to delivering equitable and patient-centred care

• Thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

• Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to clinical excellence
