At Nelson Tasman Hospice, we provide compassionate, specialist palliative care that supports patients and their whānau to live every moment with dignity, respect, and comfort. Our work extends beyond clinical excellence—it is grounded in equity, advocacy, and humanity.
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our highly skilled nursing team. This role offers flexibility to work across all Hospice services, including our Inpatient Unit, Community Services, and Aged Residential Care (ARC), and across all shifts (day, afternoon, and night).
In this role, you will contribute within our Specialist Palliative Care Unit and alongside our community teams, using your expertise to make a meaningful difference for
patients and their whānau at some of life’s most important moments.

You will bring:
Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a demonstrated record of delivering holistic, patient-centered care
An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a respectful, responsive approach to the cultural needs of all who engage with our service
Experience in palliative care, or a genuine willingness to upskill in this specialty area
A flexible, positive attitude and the ability to adapt across services and settings
