Paul Jarrett is a consultant dermatologist with interest in all areas of dermatology, including skin cancer and inflammatory dermatoses. He'll be talking to us about Vitiligo as well as recognising inflammatory dermatoses in different skin tones.

 


Cristina Mello is a consultant dermatologist with more than 15 years of experience. During the past decade she has been working with general dermatology with a special focus on hair and nail disorders. She will be covering all things related to alopecia.

 


Aaron Secrest is a consultant dermatologist and clinical director of dermatology at Christchurch Hospital. He will provide a practical approach to acne management, including the earlier use of isotretinoin. 

 



Karen Koch, a specialist dermatologist with an interest in connective tissue disorders, will discuss atopic generalised eczema, including topical optimisation, when to start systemic therapy, key treatments, scoring, and long-term monitoring.

 


Lisa Connelly is a Specialist Dermatologist with additional interest and expertise in Pediatric Dermatology conditions. She will focus on the diagnosis and management of impetigo and intertrigo (cradle cap) in children while also distinguishing these conditions from atopic eczema.

 


Bruce Arroll, GP and Primary Health Care Professor at the University of Auckland, will overview a toolkit that simplifies pattern recognition for common rashes, eczema, dermatitis, fungal.
