New medicine supply notices
Pedialyte: Claiming update Urgent action required: Pharmacies need to check any claims they made for Pedialyte in February 2026. See the website for more details.
Ticagrelor (Tab 90 mg) (Pharmacode: 2638770) The supplier anticipates running out in mid-March. A S29 alternative has been listed (Pharmacode: 2724820). A patient flyer is available on the website.
Antiretrovirals: 3-month supply
From 1 March, you can dispense 3 months supply at once for antiretrovirals.
Updated medicine supply notices
Imipramine (Tofranil) tablets 25 mg (Pharmacode: 2015250) A shipment of the section 29 alternative product has arrived (Pharmacode: 2669692). It is awaiting some final checks before it can be released for distribution.
Liraglutide (Victoza) (Pharmacode: 2653990) Shipments of liraglutide continue to arrive. The supplier has removed limits on ordering this product. The supplier expects to be able to meet full demand.
Concerta: No stock of 18 mg or 27 mg, very limited supply of 36 mg. The 54 mg is available
Ritalin: All strengths available
Rubifen: All strengths available
Sandoz XR: All strengths available
Teva: 36 mg unavailable, all other strengths available.
Olopatadine (Eye drops 0.1%) (Pharmacode: 2588048) A shipment has arrived and more shipments are expected in March and April 2026
Teriparatide (Teva) (Pharmacode: 2670399) The S29 alternative, Forteo, will be available from the supplier from 9 March 2026. It may take time to reach wholesalers and pharmacies.
Zinc (Zincaps) 50 mg capsule (Pharmacode: 258253) We understand that some pharmacies had trouble accessing stock. A recent shipment of the section 29 alternative has been released. There has been a further delay to the resupply of registered Zincaps.
Resolved issues
Norimin 84 pack (Pharmacode 410691)
Note: Supply issues are marked as resolved when the supplier has product available. It can take another 1 to 2 weeks for stock to reach pharmacies around the motu.
