Sunitinib: Brand change The funded brand of 12.5 mg, 25 mg, and 50 mg sunitinib capsules is changing to Sunitinib Rex (Rex). There is a delay to the brand change period for sunitinib 50 mg capsules from Pfizer to Rex Medical. This will now begin on 1 December 2025. Other strengths of sunitinib are unaffected and will change brand as scheduled.

Calogen (500 ml bottle) fat supplement (Pharmacode: 2222051) This product will be delisted 1 March 2026. Nutricia will run out of the product during September 2025.
Compounded oral liquids containing carboxymethylcellulose Stock is available for all listed products. We have added folic acid oral liquid (50 mcg per ml, 25 ml) (Pharmacode 344850) to the monitoring list. Stock is currently available - but may be constrained.
Ezetimibe with simvastatin (Zimybe) Tab 10 mg with simvastatin 10 mg (Pharmacode 2470683) Resupply date has been updated to October 2025.
Framycetin sulphate (Soframycin) Ear/eye drops 0.5% (Pharmacode: 254894) A shipment has arrived with the supplier and back orders to wholesalers have been filled. It may still take another week or two to reach pharmacies around New Zealand Aotearoa. We are continuing to monitor this product until the next shipment arrives.
Mesalazine 400 mg tablets (Asacol) (Pharmacode: 241113 and 2536544) We're listing a 400 mg section 29 alternative from 1 October 2025. It should be available from early October. Details and a flyer are available on the website. Methylphenidate Supplier stock holdings as at 26 September 2025.

Ritalin: All strengths available, except 20 mg long acting
Rubifen: All strengths and presentations, except 20 mg immediate release
