  • Team Coach - Respite Mental Health (Registered Nurse)

  • $105,812 + complexity allowance + 5 weeks' AL + 4 paid well-being days

  • HealthNow Payment Card ($250 per year)+ increased KiwiSaver contribution 


Lead our Nelson-based respite mental health service in a permanent full-time, Monday–Friday leadership role.

The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi


  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary team of kaimahi in our respite service

  • Provide clinical oversight to ensure safe, high‑quality care

  • Work closely with clinical teams to support tāngata whai ora during short respite stays

  • Role‑model and embed our values, trauma‑informed practice and peer‑led principles

  • You’ll be part of our regional Team Coach group, reporting to a Service and Relationship Manager and joining a collaborative, innovative team focused on continuous improvement.


You | Mōu


  • Comfortable working within a Māori context, with familiarity in tikanga and committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice

  • Hold a current New Zealand clinical registration as a Registered Nurse

  • Experience in mental health and addiction services will skills in trauma‑informed care

  • Full New Zealand driver licence and current (or willing to obtain) first aid certificate
