About the Role
P3 Recovery Mount Maunganui is seeking a New Zealand Registered Nurse Practitioner to provide remote prescribing services for our IV Infusion offering. This is a flexible contractor opportunity that can be performed remotely from anywhere in New Zealand. Working alongside our local clinical team, you will assess client suitability, review health information and prescribe IV infusions where clinically appropriate, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct remote clinical assessments and review client health information to determine suitability for IV infusions.
Prescribe IV infusions within your authorised scope of practice and in accordance with New Zealand regulations.
Review contraindications, medications and relevant medical history to support safe clinical decision making.
Collaborate with onsite Registered Nurses and the Mount Maunganui team to ensure a seamless client experience.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and prescribing records.
Ensure all prescribing activities align with Nursing Council of New Zealand, Medsafe and relevant professional standards.
Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of clinical protocols and
About You
You are a confident and experienced clinician who values evidence-based care and enjoys supporting people to take a proactive approach to their health and wellbeing.
Essential Requirements
Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Nurse Practitioner.
Endorsed prescribing rights and a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
Experience conducting telehealth or remote clinical consultations.
Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient assessment and safe prescribing practices.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage clinical decisions with confidence.
Desirable
Experience in IV infusion therapy, preventative health, integrative health, lifestyle medicine or wellness-focused healthcare.
Experience supporting multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Interest in recovery, performance, longevity and preventative wellbeing.
