NURSE PRACTITIONER VACANCY

Innovative and forward-thinking rural medical centre is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic and supportive team.
We are only 30 minutes from Methven, the ski lovers’ hub, and 45 minutes from Christchurch, a vibrant city with everything at your fingertips.

Do you have what we are looking for?
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain a high standard of clinical practice, assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning
- Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to adapt when necessary
- Exhibiting leadership in professional development and health policy participation
- Knowledge and understanding of the Te Tiriti O Waitangi with a commitment to equity and cultural safety.
- Ability to build strong rapport with team members and our patient population
- Prior experience in primary care and acute care an advantage, however not a must.
To succeed in this role, applicants would have:
- A current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Nurse Practitioner and current APC
- Genuine passion for patient-centered care
- Receive a satisfactory, police check as part of the employment process
- NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit
- Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary or acute care setting
