The Lower Hutt After Hours Medical Centre is an afterhours medical centre based in Lower Hutt. It was established in 1990 and operates Monday/Friday 5.30pm / 10.00pm and Weekends/Public Holidays 8.00am / 10.00pm. We pride ourselves in providing a patient-centres services for those requiring after hours and urgent care with in the Hutt Valley and greater Wellington Region.
We are in the process of extending our weekday operating hours from 12.00pm and are seeking an experience Nurse Practitioner (NP) to be part of our team. Hours are negotiable, but would prefer someone from 12.00pm – 6.00pm Monday - Friday either as an employee or contractor. We offer competitive market rates and remuneration is negotiable.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about General Practice
- Have excellent clinical skills
- Interested in providing health care to a diverse community
- Have a focus on patient centred care
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Requirements:
- Holds a General Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate with Nursing Council of New Zealand
- Experience in General Practice setting or working towards Vocational Registration.
- Familiarity with MedTech 32 is a plus
