Nurse Practitioner - Auckland, Hamilton, Bay of Plenty, Christchurch
on 23 April
Seeking Nurse Practitioner’s – flexibility, variation, advancement – Auckland, Hamilton, Bay of Plenty, Christchurch
We’re keen to hear from Nurse Practitioners wanting greater flexibility, lifestyle balance, career progression, increased clinical autonomy and/or additional work that can be scheduled around existing work and family commitments.
Third Age Health (TAH), is a primary care services provider to the Aged Residential Care (ARC) sector. We have permanent, part-time and ongoing locum opportunities across New Zealand. We offer competitive rates and can tailor scheduled rounds to accommodate other work or family life.
TAH's model is perfect for NP’s who have some sessional flexibility or those seeking variation and advancement. An avid supporter of Nurse Practitioners for many years, TAH has a fantastic resource of experienced NP’s and GPs who can support and mentor Nurse Practitioners in the ARC and general practice space. Third Age Health also owns several general practices in the Auckland area and so there is the opportunity for someone who might be keen to work across both general practice and aged care.
TAH NPs facilitate the treatment and care planning of older adults living in aged residential care who often have complex health issues. The work includes assessment, diagnosis, prescribing medications, and therapeutic interventions within a supportive clinical setting, whilst welcoming a collaborative approach to patient care. Prior primary care nursing experience is an advantage. Nursing Council registration as a Nurse Practitioner (scope of practice), as well as a valid practising certificate is a must.
Contact us today and find out how being a member of the TAH’s clinical team can work for you.
