Postgraduate Funding Opportunity
on 7 MayThe University of Auckland has limited Semester Two funding available to enable Registered Nurses employed in the primary and community health workforce (i.e. employed by PHOs, GP practices, Hauora Māori and Pacific community providers, or aged care providers), to participate in postgraduate study. This is for nurses on a RN prescribing or Nurse Practitioner pathway.
The funding covers course fees only.
Students must study one of the following courses to be eligible:
- NURSING 742 Biological Science for Practice
- NURSING 746 Evidence-based Practice and Implementation
- NURSING 770 Clinical Practice Development
- NURSING 773 Advanced Assessment and Clinical Reasoning
- NURSING 785 Clinical Reasoning in Pharmacotherapeutics
- NURSPRAC 717 Practicum for RN Designated Prescribers
- NURSPRAC 720 Advanced Mental Health Assessment
