Nurse Practitioner/NP intern

Located in a modern premises alongside Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Midwifery, Podiatry and Dental services, Silverstream Medical Centre has a dedicated focus on the delivery of Primary Health Care services to our patients, always maintaining the highest standard of patient and staff experience. The practice has a special interest in Skin Cancer detection and treatment and Women's Health. We have an exciting new opportunity for someone to join our team as a Nurse Practitioner in a full time or part time capacity.
To integrate into the team and flourish in your role you will receive full support from:
- General Practitioners
- Clinical Inbox Assistants
- Health Coach and Health Improvement Practitioner
- Experienced nursing and administration teams, Practice Manager and Clinical Director.
The ideal candidate:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Positive attitude and high level of confidence
- Current registration with the NZNC as a Nurse Practitioner
- Professionalism, kindness and a commitment to quality
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and an understanding of the socio-economic and cultural determinants of health
